COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are investigating a shooting that left a 10-year-old injured Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to McGuffey Road, just south of Hudson Street, around 1 p.m.
Police said the child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in stable condition after being shot in the arm.
The 10-year-old and another juvenile were playing with a gun and the gun accidentally fired, police say.
There is no word on any charges that may be filed in this case.
