MADISON TWP - Madison Township Police are investigating after a 3-year-old boy shot himself in the head in southeast Columbus.
It happened around 9 Sunday morning in the 3800 block of Wade Rd.
Authorities told 10TV the child shot himself with his father's loaded handgun and was transported to Children's Hospital where he died.
The father awoke to the sound of a gun being fired. He found his son in the living room with a gunshot wound.
