LANCASTER -- Police said a 27-year old woman was shot and killed at a motel on the east side of Lancaster Saturday night.
According to the Lancaster Police Department, Corena Bower was found dead in the parking lot of the Casa Grande Motel.
Police say they recovered a gun at the scene and murder charges have been filed against 29-year old Sonny Minshall. Police are not releasing the relationship between the two at this time.
Minshall is awaiting arraignment in the Fairfield County Jail.
The shooting remains under investigation.
