DELAWARE, Ohio – Delaware police have identified the person killed in the 900 block of Stratford Road around 6:50 p.m. Thursday, as well as the suspected shooter.
Delaware police said officers responded to the 900 block of Stratford Road where 28-year-old Ali Al Azirjawi was found dead.
One person, now identified as Bryan S. Pemberton, 33, of Delaware, was taken into custody at the scene, according to police.
Pemberton is being held in the Delaware County Jail on a murder charge, awaiting arraignment in Delaware Municipal Court.
At this time, police believe Azirijawi arrived at the Stratford Road location for a child custody exchange.
The shooting remains under investigation.
