LANCASTER, Ohio — A woman was arrested after police found human remains inside a Lancaster home on Wednesday.
According to the Lancaster Police Department, officers were investigating a missing persons case around 2:30 p.m. While serving a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Lynwood Lane, officers found human remains inside the house.
Police say officers arrested 58-year-old Katharine Arnold on Thursday. She is charged with felony abuse of a corpse in connection to the case, police say. She is booked in the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office jail to await arraignment.
The identity of the person found in the house was not released.
