Police: 3 injured in single-vehicle crash near downtown Columbus

Dispatchers told 10TV the ramp was shut down while authorities investigated.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash near downtown Columbus early Sunday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Officers were called to Interstate 670 eastbound near the ramp to Interstate 71 southbound around 5:35 a.m. on reports of a crash.

Two people were taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital. Police described one victim's condition as "stable," and another victim is in serious condition.

A third person was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. It is unclear what led up to the crash.

Dispatchers told 10TV the ramp was shut down while authorities investigated. The road has since reopened.
