Police: 2 injured in King-Lincoln Bronzeville shooting

Two people were shot in Columbus' King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood Saturday evening. Both are expected to survive their injuries.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two people were injured in a shooting in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood Saturday evening, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Officers were called to the 1000 block of Atcheson Street just before 8 p.m. on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, where police say they are expected to survive their injuries. A second victim was standing in the line of gunfire but was not injured. 

Police said a third victim walked into a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound and is expected to survive.

It is unclear what led up to the shooting. No suspect information is available at this time.
