COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was injured after a shooting in northeast Columbus early Sunday morning.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the 1200 block of East 15th Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.
The victim told officers they were shot while driving.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital. Police said they are expected to survive their injuries.
No information about a suspect was available.
