COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is dead after a shooting on the city's north side Saturday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called to the intersection of West 3rd and Neil avenues just before 5 a.m. on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead at 5:10 a.m.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting. A dispatcher for the city's public safety department told 10TV one person was detained at the scene.
