COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is dead after a shooting on the city’s east side early Saturday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called to the 2900 block of Dana Drive, north of East Broad Street, just before 1:45 a.m. on a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. A dispatcher for the city’s public safety department told 10TV they were pronounced dead at the scene at 1:59 a.m.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting. No suspect information is available at this time.
