COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police have identified the man that was fatally shot in a northeast Columbus shooting on Wednesday.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the 2100 block of Rankin Avenue off Mock Road around 9:40 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found 36-year-old Michael Sarratt suffering from a gunshot wound.
Sarratt was taken to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.
Police currently do not have any information on a suspect.
The Columbus Division of Police is still investigating this incident.
