COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman is injured after a shooting in the Livingston Park neighborhood late Thursday evening, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
ShotSpotter technology alerted officers of a reported shooting in the 600 block of South 22nd Street around 11:15 p.m.
Arriving officers found shell casings in the front of the 900 block of Newton Street and located a 24-year-old woman who was shot in the face and leg.
Additionally, officers found another home in the block that was struck by a bullet.
She was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. In an update Friday morning, police say she is expected to recover from her injuries.
Columbus police said no arrests have been made.
