30-year-old man critically injured in east Columbus shooting

Surveillance video showed two suspects firing multiple rounds at the man, striking him multiple times, police said. The suspect then left the area.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 30-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting in east Columbus Thursday evening, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Officers were called to the 1500 block of East Main Street around 7:27 p.m. Police found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

Police said he was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. 

Surveillance video showed two suspects firing multiple rounds at the man, striking him multiple times, police said. The suspect then left the area.

Additional information on the suspects was not immediately available.
