COLUMBUS, Ohio — A firefighter is injured after falling through a floor that was burned in a house fire on the city's north side Saturday morning, according to Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Geitter.

Firefighters were called to the 2500 block of Pisces Court, near Dublin, just after 11 a.m. for a report of a fire at a single-family home.

During the response, a "mayday" was called for one of the firefighters who reportedly fell through a burned-out portion of the floor. The injured firefighter was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital and is described by Geitter as "stable."
