PICKAWAY COUNTY – A Pickaway County man who was charged with kidnapping and assaulting two girls has been sentenced to 15 years behind bars.
William Weaver also has to register as a tier-3 sex offender for the rest of his life.
Weaver entered an Alford plea to the charges of gross sexual imposition and kidnapping after the charges were filed for grabbing and assaulting a 10-year-old girl.
In an Alford plea, defendants claim they are innocent of a crime but recognize he would be found guilty if the case went to trial.
Weaver cannot live within 1,000 feet of a school and anyone living within 1000 feet of him will not notified.
