PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A father and his two sons were killed when a fire broke out at a two-story house in Pickaway County early Tuesday morning, according to the coroner's office.
First responders were called to Ballah Road in Orient around 12:30 a.m. on a report of a house fire. The State Fire Marshal's Fire and Explosion Investigations Bureau is investigating the incident.
The coroner confirmed that 55-year-old Mark Robinette was killed along with his two sons, 10-year-old Liam and 17-year-old Gideon
A cousin of Robinette told 10TV's Collin Dorsey that the man got his wife and several kids out of the house before going back to try to save his two sons.
Mark was a pastor at a local church and the family did missionary work abroad.
Investigators report there is no indication of foul play but the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
