COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 43-year-old woman is dead after being hit by a pickup truck in southwest Columbus early Saturday morning, police said.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, Seanna Groce was walking northbound on Norton Road, south of Bolton Field Airport Road, just before 1 a.m.
Groce was in the northbound lane of Norton when police said she stepped out in front of a black Toyota Tundra which struck her.
The driver of the Tundra remained at the scene. Medics pronounced Groce dead at the scene.
Columbus Police's Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
