COLUMBUS, Ohio — A pedestrian was seriously injured Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle outside John Glenn Columbus International Airport.
A spokesperson for the airport said there was an accident involving a pedestrian in the area where taxis and rideshares wait.
The person was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, according to Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Geitter.
Airport authorities said the driver stayed at the scene.
Traffic was diverted from the area due to the investigation.
