Suspect in deadly south Columbus shooting turns himself in

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police said a suspect in a deadly shooting on the city's south side has turned himself in.

Officers responded to the area of Parsons Avenue and Woodrow Avenue around 2 a.m. on October 2 after being alerted by ShotSpotter.

Police said two people were found shot and they were taken to Grant Medical Center. 

Andre Clayborn, 38, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A woman is listed in critical condition.

Another man later showed up at the hospital saying he was hurt in the same incident and he is expected to recover.

Police are investigating what led to the shooting but did say there were multiple shots fired inside and outside

Authorities filed an arrest warrant for David Bullock. He has been charged with murder in the death of Clayborn. 

He turned himself in on October 8 and was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
