Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol have filed charges against two women after seizing more than 4 pounds of cocaine in Pickaway County.

A Nissan Sentra with Alabama registration was stopped by troopers on July 17 just before midnight on U.S. 23 for following too close and registration violations.

According to OSHP, criminal indicators were present and an odor of marijuana was detected.

During a probable cause search, troopers found marijuana and the cocaine worth $200,000.

Twenty-four-year-olds Khadijah Lee and Kionna Bennett, both from Charleston, West Virginia, were taken to the Pickaway County Jail and charged with possession and trafficking in drugs.

If convicted, each could face up to 22 year in prison and up to $40,000 in fines.
