COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 19-year-old woman died after she crashed into a semitrailer during a police pursuit on Interstate 70 early Wednesday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Kylee Harrigan, of Dayton, was traveling west on Interstate 75 in a 2007 Honda Accord at a high rate of speed. OSHP adds she was being chased by the Madison County Sheriff's Office.

When Harrigan attempted to take the state Route 54 exit in South Vienna, she traveled off the right side of the off-ramp where she struck a 2022 Freightliner. The semi was parked with the driver inside, who was not injured.
