State Fire Marshal welcomes explosion detection K-9 with swearing-in ceremony

The Ohio State Fire Marshal has welcomed an important four-legged addition to the office Tuesday.

State Fire Marshal Jeff A. Hussey and Commerce Director Sheryl Maxfield welcomed Rena, an explosive detection K-9, to the team with an official swearing-in ceremony.

The State Fire Marshal Office says the 2-year-old German Shepherd will replace 9-year-old Dodger, a Labrador Retriever.

Dodger will now enjoy retirement life.
