NEWPORT, KY - The Newport Aquarium is kicking off its summer season with #SharkSummer.
Between May 27 – July 8, guests will discover fun shark facts and shark-related exhibits around every corner. They will even get to touch sharks.
A new species of shark will make its debut in ‘Shark Central.’ They are two baby Japanese Bullhead Sharks named Wasabi and Sake.
Other #SharkSummer activities include the Shark Nursery, that features eggs from three different species of sharks. The Shark Bridge is a 75-foot-long rope bridge suspended just inches above nearly two dozen sharks.
One child ages 2-12 gets in free after 4 p.m. with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket Sundays - Thursdays.
