SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A North Carolina man has been arrested after authorities seized over $20,000 worth of suspected heroin and THC wax.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says just after 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, troopers stopped a Toyota Corolla for marked lanes and following too close violations on State Route 823.
OSHP says the driver, 38-year-old Dennis Corr of Durham, North Carolina, was driving without a valid driver license and admitted to having a small amount of marijuana, leading to a search of the vehicle.
Troopers found 100 grams of suspected heroin and 350 grams of wax THC, estimated to be worth approximately $21,500.
Corr was taken to Scioto County Jail and charged with possession of heroin. If convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison and a fine of up to $15,000.
