COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State University confirmed the student who fell from a campus parking garage Thursday has died.
It happened around 7 p.m. at the Ohio Union south parking garage.
Ohio State identified the student as Daniel Birdsall.
The university released the following statement: "We are deeply saddened to share that the student who fell from the Ohio Union South Garage on Thursday has died. On behalf of the entire Ohio State community, our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of Daniel Birdsall."
