COLUMBUS, Ohio — Fire officials are investigating a suspicious house fire in north Columbus on Thursday.
The fire happened in the 1300 block of Forsythe Avenue, just west of Neil Avenue, around 3:50 a.m.
Fire officials say there was heavy damage to the first floor and living room area of the home. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
There was a frozen hydrant, but firefighters were able to use it and it did not hamper operations.
Arson investigators were at the scene.
