COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was struck and killed while walking in a crosswalk in north Columbus Tuesday night, police said.
Just before 8 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police said a man was crossing Busch Boulevard in a marked crosswalk when a “Do Not Walk” sign was on.
Meanwhile, a woman and a man inside a vehicle were heading south on Busch Boulevard approaching Shapter Avenue and struck the man at the intersection.
Police and medics arrived at the scene after receiving a call about the crash. Medics pronounced the man dead at 8:06 p.m. The man's identity has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
