WESTERVILLE, Ohio — One person was killed and four others, including three juveniles, were injured in a crash near Polaris Friday afternoon, according to the Westerville Police Department.
Officers were called to North Cleveland Avenue and Polaris Parkway in Westerville at 2:11 p.m. on a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Police say the driver of one of the vehicles was take to Mount Carmel St. Ann's and pronounced dead. The driver of the other vehicle, as well as three children inside, were taken to nearby hospitals. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
North Cleveland Avenue is closed in the area.
The department’s Accident Recreation Team is on scene working to figure out what happened.
