Some new additions have been put in place to help you and your family enjoy our Metro Parks even more.
At Glacier Ridge Metro Park there's something new for kids, adults and even our four-legged family members.
One of the new additions is a one of a kind kids play area.
Ten-year-old Josh Yaich says he loves that it's different than other playgrounds.
"It's cool that they put the zip line in and they did those walls," he explains.
Those walls Josh is talking about were built by a talented group of students, for kids to enjoy.
Metro Parks Executive Director Tim Moloney explains.
"Really the credit goes to the Knowlton School of Architecture from Ohio State. Their second-year graduate students were the ones that designed it and built it. It's unique and you find one anywhere else," he says.
Another cool new part of the park is an obstacle course, where kids can climb around and adults can try to get fit.
There's even something brand new for our four-legged friends.
"We wanted a dog park that's different, not only a big open field but a third of it is in the woods so we have an acre of it is in the woods," Moloney says.
Glacier Ridge Metro Park is located at 9801 Hyland Croy Road in Plain City.
