Here are the central Ohio communities celebrating National Night Out 2024

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to help make neighborhoods safer.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Several communities across central Ohio are hosting celebrations for National Night Out on Tuesday.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to help make neighborhoods safer.

The organization says it's also an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Guests can be part of block parties, cookouts and other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events and other activities.

Check to see what is happening in your neighborhood for National Night Out: 

  • Blacklick: Cedar Run Park from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Dublin: Dublin Justice Center from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Genoa Township: Celebration starts at 5 p.m. at McNamara Park
  • Grandview Heights: Wyman Woods Park from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Hilliard: Lakewood Park from 5:30  to 8 p.m.
  • Linden Park North Block Watch: 1296 Aberdeen Avenue from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Northeast Area Commission in Columbus: 2505 North Cassady Avenue from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Oakland Park Alternative Elementary: 3392 Atwood Terrace from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Reynoldsburg: Municipal Building for three hours. No start time listed.
  • Upper Arlington: Fancyburg Park from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • West Jefferson: West Jefferson Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Whitehall: John Bishop Park from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Worthington: 295 Brownfell Drive from 7 to 8 p.m.
