COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are investigating a shooting that injured four people Friday evening near Weinland Park.
The shooting happened in the area of East 6th Avenue and Summit Street around 8:40 p.m.
According to police, the victims were attending a vigil for a homicide victim.
Witnesses then say several, unknown individuals fired multiple gunshots into the crowd.
All four victims were hit, but are expected to be OK, according to police.
There is currently no suspect information.
Roads in the area were initially shut down, but have since reopened.
On Wednesday, a 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting in the same area.
