41-year-old motorcyclist dies after crash in Licking County

LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — A 41-year-old man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Licking County Saturday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

OSHP says the crash happened around 8:10 a.m. on state Route 79 north of Hoover Road in Mary Ann Township.

A Harley Davidson Road Glide driven by Adam Messerall, of Frazeysburg, was traveling northbound on state Route 79 when he drove off the left side of the road, hitting a ditch.

Messerall was pronounced dead by medics at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
