Police identify motorcyclist killed in northeast Columbus crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in northeast Columbus, according to police.

The crash happened on Morse Road around 9:30 a.m. The Columbus Division of Police says a Harley Davidson was heading east and a Toyota Camry was traveling west on the road.

The driver of the Camry was turning left into a driveway, just west of Cleveland Avenue, when the motorcycle and the Camry collided.

Police say the motorcyclist, identified as 27-year-old Elliott Wilkins, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to a local hospital in what police described as stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
