COLUMBUS, Ohio — A motorcyclist is seriously injured following a crash near Ohio Stadium on Saturday afternoon, according to Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Geitter.
Officers were called to the area of Ives Drive and Tuttle Park Place, located just northeast of Ohio Stadium, around 2:55 p.m. on a report of a crash.
A spokesperson with Ohio State Public Safety said the crash involved a motorcycle and a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene after the crash.
The motorcyclist was transported to Wexner Medical Center in serious condition.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
The area is currently shut down for an investigation.
