LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — A motorcyclist died after crashing into a tree in Licking County on Tuesday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 76-year-old John Winterrowd, of Thornville, was traveling south on Licking Trail Road in Licking Township around 6:30 p.m.
Winterrowd drove off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
Winterrowd was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
