FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Plain Township Thursday evening, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the crash occurred in the 11000 block of Johnstown Road at approximately 6:12 p.m.
A Harley Davidson was traveling northbound when the motorcyclist crossed into the southbound lane and crashed into a Toyota Corolla traveling southbound.
Deputies said the wheel of the motorcycle broke off and struck a Buick LaCrosse.
The rider of the Harley Davidson was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition. They were pronounced dead at 7:02 p.m.
Those in the Toyota Corolla and Buick LaCrosse were treated on the scene.
