MORGAN COUNTY, OH - The Morgan County Sheriff's Office is searching for an escaped inmate following his arrest in Morgan County.
On Sunday evening, the Morgan County Sheriff's Office booked Jeff Forrester on a warrant for failing to appear in court.
Forrester asked to use the restroom and when he came out, he bolted for the back door in the restroom and was able to get away.
Following his escape, a former neighbor spoke with him at Halcyon Avenue in the Village of McConnelsville.
Forrester told the neighbor he planned to go to West Virginia.
Police do not consider Forrester to be dangerous and he has no history with firearms.
