COLUMBUS, Ohio — A mother and her 4-month-old boy were found safe after the two were reported missing on Wednesday.
A statewide alert was issued for Kesean Bailey and his mother, Kristin Bailey, Wednesday afternoon. Law enforcement had concerns for Kesean's safety.
The Columbus Division of Police says Kesean and Kristin, were found in the 1700 block of West Mound Street around 9:40 p.m. They were reported missing from the city's southeast side earlier in the day.
Sgt. Joe Albert said Kesean was being taken to Franklin County Children Services. Kristin is being taken to a hospital for mental health treatment.
No charges are expected to be filed against Kristin at this time.
