FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — Officials with Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks say all employees and guests will be required to wear masks starting Monday.
The mask requirement is being made in an effort to slow down the spread of COVID-19. It comes after Gov. Mike DeWine recently revealed details on Ohio's updated mask mandate.
In accordance with the governor's order, exemptions can be made for people who are not able to wear masks for medical or developmental reasons.
The masks must cover a person's nose, mouth and chin.
Park officials also are asking that people follow social distancing guidelines and remain six feet apart from people who are not members of their households.
