A brick was laid in memory of the 18-year-old who was killed in a ride accident at the Ohio State Fair two years ago.
Tyler Jarrell died on July 26, 2017 when the Fire Ball ride broke apart. Seven others were injured.
The brick was placed at the fairground on Monday.
His mother, Amber Duffield, said she is thankful for the honor but wishes it wasn’t necessary.
Duffield also said she would like to see something put in place to honor the survivors of the accident.
