COLUMBUS, Ohio — Good news for fans who haven't yet had a chance to check out the Marvel exhibit at COSI. The Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes exhibition will now run through Labor Day weekend, museum officials announced Wednesday.
The exhibit was originally slated to close at the end of May. In a post to social media, organizers cited popular demand as reason for extending its dates through Sept. 5.
With more than 300 artifacts, Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes is the single largest exhibition to ever celebrate the popular franchise. It features props, costumes and original art from the Marvel Universe, some of which organizers say has never before been put on display.
It's an experience deemed by organizers as one of the most "exciting and groundbreaking" exhibitions the museum has ever hosted.
Dr. Frederic Bertley, president and CEO of COSI, previously emphasized the impact super heroes can have during difficult times, saying in part, “It’s truly an honor for COSI during such times to be the home to such an iconic experience that celebrates the super heroes in the Marvel Universe, a recognition of the potential super hero in all of us.”
Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased here.
