PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Pike County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of firing his weapon during a road rage incident on Monday.
Around 8:20 p.m., the sheriff’s Office received a complaint of shots being fired at Fairview and Lapperell roads in Perry Township. The complaint stemmed from a road rage incident between drivers and the suspect, identified as 43-year-old Josh Bailey, who was in a 2010 red Chevy HHR.
Deputies patrolled the area and found the vehicle on Grassy Fork Road in Peebles. The deputies went after the vehicle and the pursuit ended near the 1000 block of Zion Road. Bailey went into a wooded area near Hackleshin Road.
Bailey was last seen wearing a black shirt with camouflage pants. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
An arrest warrant was issued for Bailey’s arrest. He is charged with aggravated menacing, mishandling firearms in a motor vehicle and fleeing and eluding.
