COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 32-year-old man is recovering after being shot during an attempted robbery in south Columbus Sunday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Siebert Street shortly at 4:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, Columbus police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Grant Medical Center in what police were calling stable condition. He is expected to fully recover.
Police told 10TV that the shooting was a result of an attempted robbery.
No arrests have been made.
