DELAWARE COUNTY – Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified the man killed in the single-vehicle crash on State Route 257 in Delaware County.
Authorities told 10TV they received a call just before 8:15 a.m. Saturday that a vehicle was on its side at milepost 14 in Scioto Township.
OSHP says Christopher Utrata, 47, of Powell, was driving northbound on SR-257 when he went off the road and struck a tree in a wooded area.
Utrata was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.
It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
