HOCKING COUNTY, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a trash truck and an SUV on U.S. 33 near Rockbridge, Ohio in Hocking County.
OSHP told 10TV the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
The Hocking County Sheriff's Office confirmed the coroner was called to the scene, and that 49-year-old Robert Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Wright failed to yield a stop sign and was ejected from the truck after being hit by the SUV.
The road was closed for several hours after the crash, but it has since reopened.
