COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police have arrested and charged a man with murder after a boy was found in a west Columbus residence on Wednesday.
Columbus police say shortly before 10:30 a.m., homicide detectives were requested to respond to the 400 block of Dakota Avenue.
The Missing Person's unit was performing a search warrant at the residence due to the fact that the victim had been missing since Nov. 16 and family of the victim said they had found some blood on the floor.
Police say the man's body was found inside the residence. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Edward Monett.
On Friday, police said they have arrested and charged 35-year-old Anthony Miller with murder.
This is the 98th Homicide in Columbus in 2019.
