A man is facing a third-degree felony charge of theft and is accused of stealing guns from Clinton Township police cruisers in August.
According to court records, Malik Miller, 23, is accused of breaking to two cruisers by smashing the side windows.
Miller allegedly stole a 12-gauge shotgun and an AR-15 rifle from the cruisers that were parked in the police parking lot.
A detective said in a signed affidavit that Miller left behind a screwdriver and they were able to confirm a preliminary association with Miller based on a swab of the handle.
