A prison employee is behind bars, accused of having a hit list of co-workers he would shoot.
Investigators say they also found a loaded gun in his car.
Twenty-one-year-old Chace Dobbs of Springfield was a mailroom screening clerk at the Madison Correctional Facility in London.
He is now jailed, accused telling other employees "that there was a list of other employees that he would shoot."
Court records obtained by 10TV spell out the case against him.
A prison investigator says it happened Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m.
The report says "Dobbs gave specific names of several Corrections Officers that he would shoot."
Dobbs was relieved of his post in the mailroom and escorted to the Warden's Office.
Investigators say a search of his vehicle turned up a "handgun...loaded with a magazine with six rounds and one in the barrel".
An "unloaded... .22 caliber (handgun) was located in his trunk."
Investigators say Dobbs admitted to making the statements and gave "reasons why he was upset and unhappy with the individuals he named but stated that he was only joking and would not follow through with his threats."
Dobbs is charged with aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor.
He is due in court Friday morning.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction says he resigned Wednesday.
His family did not want to comment.
