Mad River Mountain is set to open for its 55th season with a brand new $6.5 million lodge Friday.
The new lodge, which is twice the size of the old lodge, will offer a 180-degree view of the ski slopes.
It also boasts an 800 guest dining area, fireplaces on both levels, custom stone-faced bar and slope-side deck.
The lodge will also replace an administration building and locker room facilities to house nearly all skier services under one roof.
The old Mad River Mountain lodge was destroyed by a fire in September 2015.
"The old lodge was a favorite amongst guests and locals,” said Tom Price, general manager of Mad River Mountain. “While this new lodge will feature a ton of new amenities, better views, and more space, it was important for us to pay homage to the old lodge and the many characteristics we knew and loved."
