London Ohio Police welcomes first K9 to its ranks

A central Ohio police department welcomed its first K9 unit to the force this week.

LONDON, Ohio – A central Ohio police department welcomed its first K9 unit to the force this week.

K9 Ygor is now working with police in London, Ohio. He is a 16-month old Belgian Malinois.

Ygor’s handler is Officer Michael Combs, a 10-year veteran.

He is trained to detect drugs, track, search, and apprehend.

Ygor was certified by the state on Wednesday after several weeks of training.
